A client website that turns recurring content updates into a manageable workflow.

I translated a bold, highly specific visual identity into a responsive website for Ginita and La Orquesta Esa, then built the content systems needed to manage media, events, commissions, contact paths, and ongoing updates.

The problem

A working musician needs more than a static brochure. The site had to represent distinct artist and orchestra identities, present audio and video convincingly, support event and sales paths, and remain maintainable as releases and performances change.

My approach

I treated the supplied artwork, typography, photography, and album materials as a living design system. I paired the expressive public experience with protected admin and inline-editing tools so visual character would not come at the expense of maintainability.

What I designed & built

Separate Ginita and La Orquesta Esa experiences, custom responsive navigation and themes, audio and video presentation, events, media galleries, newsletter and contact flows, shop and cart paths, selected commissions, protected administration, uploads, and visual content controls.

Key challenges

Balancing large media assets, motion, custom fonts, and an unconventional art direction with responsive behavior, load performance, accessible navigation, and practical content editing.

Results / lessons

The working site now presents real artist, event, and release content through a distinctive public experience while giving authorized users tools to update key sections without rebuilding the application. Content and administrative refinements remain in progress.

The problem

Keeping plants healthy in a small home can become a daily maintenance job. The system needed to manage water, light, and growing conditions without wasting space or making upkeep harder to understand.

My approach

I treated the grow environment as a complete feedback system: define the process, design the physical layout, identify meaningful measurements, automate repeatable actions, then test.

What I designed & built

The physical grow system, fluid handling, environmental monitoring, sensor points, pump and lighting automation, and a framework for structured experiments.

Balancing biological variability with reliable automation, selecting useful measurements, and designing for maintenance as well as normal operation.

Results / lessons

A functioning platform for growing and learning. The most valuable lesson: useful automation starts with a clear physical process and measurements you can trust. Quantified outcomes will be added after the next documented grow cycle.

I built and actively use this application to keep plant profiles, nutrient additions, measurements, notes, planning, and recovery-ready backups in one understandable place.

The problem

Plant details, nutrient recipes, measurements, photos, and observations become difficult to compare when they live in memory or separate notes. I also needed the tracker to work on a phone without making a cloud account a requirement.

My approach

I modeled the application around real grow-room decisions: see the current state, add one reading quickly, keep a plant-specific history, calculate a nutrient mix, and make the data easy to recover.

What I designed & built

Active-plant dashboards, plant and germination records, a future-plant planner, nutrient and measurement logging, a base nutrient calculator, notes, analysis views, an Instagram drafting queue, JSON import/export, PWA support, and automatic local-server backups.

Key challenges

Keeping varied records connected to the right plant, making frequent entry practical on desktop and mobile, and providing dependable recovery without requiring a hosted backend.

Results / lessons

The tracker is a working tool with real plant and nutrient history in daily use. It has grown beyond a simple measurement log into a local operations dashboard; automatic cross-device cloud sync remains a future option rather than a completed feature.

I developed TaleSpyre as a connected writing environment for manuscripts, chapters, scenes, characters, research, files, and the relationships between them.

The problem

Long-form writing often spreads across editors, character sheets, research folders, and disconnected notes. That separation makes it harder to preserve context, find material, and understand how story elements relate.

My approach

I organized the product around a hierarchical workspace and connected creative objects. Writers can move through the manuscript while keeping characters, research, files, and relationship context available within the same system.

What I designed & built

Authenticated workspaces, a manuscript and scene editor, drag-and-drop project trees, character records and groups, relationship maps and analysis, linked research notes, file upload and preview, search, export workflows, responsive views, and PWA support.

Key challenges

Keeping a deep hierarchy coherent across drag-and-drop changes, rich-text editing, linked research, and asynchronous database updates while preserving responsive performance on large projects.

Results / lessons

TaleSpyre is a working authenticated web application with its core writing, character, research, file, and relationship systems implemented. Production hardening, store assets, end-to-end testing, and the public launch process are still in progress.

I improve the systems people actually live and work with.

Whether the system is a business process or a row of plants, I look for the smallest useful improvement and build from there.

My background spans software development, automation, physical systems, data tracking, and troubleshooting. That range helps me work on both sides of a problem: the screen where information lives and the real space where people, plants, tools, and routines have to function.

I focus on small teams and small spaces because constraints make thoughtful design matter. A good solution should save attention, fit the available space, remain understandable, and be realistic to maintain after I hand it over.
